Tax Season Announcements
We are currently taking new clients on a limited case-by-case basis through March 31st. If we did not complete your taxes last year, but may have in prior years you are still considered a new client. If you are a business looking for payroll and bookkeeping services, we are accepting new clients looking for these services all year.
Organizers were mailed out the middle of January and are also available on our website under forms. Please complete this in advance of bringing us your tax information to help expedite the processing of your tax return and to reduce the length of your in-person appointment. Note, there is information that is required from all clients, whether you are a new or returning client.
Our hours for tax season are as follows from February 1 – April 15:
- Monday Thru Thursday – 9:00 – 8:00
- Friday – 9:00 – 4:00
- Saturday – 9:00 – 1:00 (February – April 15)
Our offseason hours from April 16th – January 31st are Tuesday – Thursday from 9:00 – 4:00.
Unless prior arrangements have been made with your tax professional, all tax information must be received by the first Saturday in April. While dropping your return information off prior to this date doesn’t guarantee that an extension will not need to be filed, returns received after this date will have an extension filed automatically and we will contact you when the taxes are completed, whether it is before or after the filing deadline. If an extension will be filed you are responsible for estimating the amount of the extension payment you should send in if you feel that you will owe taxes.
Our goal this tax season is to complete your return within 7 – 10 business days of receiving all your tax information, but as we approach the end of tax season these times may become longer. We will not be completing returns in our office during your appointment. Additionally, we generally try to limit your drop off appointments to no more than 30 minutes and your pick up appointments to no more than 15.
You can also drop your taxes off at the front desk or upload to our Client Portal if you do not need to meet with your tax professional. Emailing of your tax information to your tax professional is not recommended if it has confidential information on it.
If you are showing any signs of any illness or have not met the currect CDC requirements for quarantine due to COVID we ask that you not come into our tax office during that time.
